Police Advice to avoid a road rage incident
If you anger another driver by making an error whilst driving, you should acknowledge your mistake by a wave or say sorry.
Do not lose your temper, return verbal abuse or make threatening or abusive gestures.
If you find that you are being followed you should make your way to a populated area, sound your horn and flash your lights.
Do not rise to challenges from other drivers, just drive steadily within the speed limit.
Report any driving incidents to the police.
