| Did you see offenders damage cars in Bricket Wood? |
| Overnight on Saturday 12 June, four cars belonging to
elderly residents were damaged in the eastern part of
Bricket Wood. Did you see who caused the damage or know who may be responsible? Between 10pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday, offender(s) threw masonry through the drivers door window, the passenger window, and cracked the windscreen of an Austin Allegro. Between 1am and 3.25pm on Sunday offender(s) smashed a solar powered light attached to the front wall of the driveway. A green Rover 218s front nearside window was smashed with a rock between 2pm on Saturday and 10.30am on Sunday. And bricks were put through the front and rear windscreen of a blue Renault Megane and a red Peugeot 106. These were mindless and callous acts of vandalism that has left four elderly people without any transport, said PC Paul Coxall from the London Colney Community Team. And they cannot afford to pay the excess on their insurance premiums to get the repairs done there will be problems getting parts for the Allegro! He said: I would personally appeal to anyone who saw the incidents themselves or knows who may be responsible to get in touch with me on 01727 796213 or the Crimesdesk on 01707 638102 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. |
