Handbag Snatch Warning

This is a warning to alert shoppers that there have been a number of drive-by handbag thefts taking place in supermarket car parks. It appears that stolen cars are being used to drive around the car parks to snatch bags from shoppers while they are loading their purchases into there own cars. Please be aware of this and keep your bags out of reach of passing cars. Incidents have been reported at Asda in Watford, Tesco & Sainsbury's in Hemel Hempstead, Sainsbury's in Apsley and Tesco in Tring.
