| Burglars posed as police to fool pensioner |

| BURGLARS posed as police officers to fool an elderly
resident at the weekend. Entry to the property in Station Road in Radlett between 8:00 pm and 8:15 pm on Saturday 30 November. After searching the upstairs they began making their way downstairs and bumped into the 79-year-old resident. They claimed to be police officers and asked the resident to check if anything was missing. One then left the premises while the other followed the resident upstairs. He told the resident he would come back later to take statements. He then left the premises. Bothe the suspects are described as white males wearing blue bomber-style jackets and dark trousers. They were scruffily dressed and in their 30's, of medium build and with short dark hair. One was about 5 ft 6 in and the other 5 ft 8 in tall.
