| Advice for users of Cash Machines |
| When using a Cash Machine be aware of other people
around you. Try and shield the keypad with one hand whilst entering your PIN with the other. Do not allow yourself to be distracted. If your card appears to be retained by the machine, DO NOT re-enter your PIN as there may be a clear plastic sleeve fitted into the slot to prevent your card being read. Run your finger along the slot; if you feel anything unusual you may be able to remove it along with your card. If your card is lost, stolen, mislaid or retained, you should telephone your card company or Bank immediately you are aware (see links below). |
